Itinerary

Day 1 - Pick up from Paro airport and transfer to Thimphu

After arriving at the airport, we'll transfer you to the hotel. You can check in and relax. En route, we'll stop at Tachogang Lhakhang, a private temple and suspension bridge built in the 16th century. In the evening, you can take a walk to the main city from Clock Tower Square for shopping and mingling with locals. Overnight at a hotel in Thimphu.

Day 2 - Thimphu- Local Sightseeing
You will be transferred to Simply Bhutan, Kuensel Phodrang-Buddha Point, Handicrafts Market, Folk Heritage Museum, Painting School, Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo, Sangaygang view point, and TashichoeDzong (outer view). Overnight stay at a hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3 - Thimphu to Punakha valley transfer via Dochula
Visit DochuLa mountain pass for stunning views of Eastern Himalayan ranges. Then, visit Punakha Dzong, also known as "the palace of great happiness," and the Suspension Bridge. Stay overnight at a hotel in Punakha.

Day 4 - Punakha – Bumthang
After breakfast, drive to Trongsa via Pele-La-Pass, with a stop at Chendbji Chorten. Visit Trongsa Dzong and Ta Dzong, then continue to Bumthang via Yutong-La-Pass. While in Chumey Valley, visit the Yathra Weaving Factory. Check in at the hotel in Bumthang for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Bumthang Sightseeing 
After breakfast, visit Jakar Dzong, Lamey Goemba, Jambay Lhakhang, Chakhar Lhakhang, and Kurjey Lhakhang. In the afternoon, visit Tamshing Lhakhang and Membarstho. In the evening, visit a local handloom weaving house and interact with the weavers. Overnight stay at Bumthang.

Day 6 - Bumthang – Punakha 
Distance: 212 kms. / Driving Time: 8 hrs. / Altitude of Punakha: 1310 mts.)
After breakfast, drive to Punakha. Reach Punakha by late afternoon. On arrival check in at the hotel.
Overnight stay at Punakha.

Day 7 - Punakha to Paro Local Sightseeing + Paro Local Sightseeing 
Drive back to Paro and visit local sightseeing places such as Paro Airport View, the National Museum of Bhutan, Ta Dzong, and RinpungDzong. You can also buy souvenirs at Paro Market. Overnight at a hotel in Paro.

Day 8 - Tiger Nest Trekking / Chele-la Excursion 
After breakfast, you can either hike to the Taktsang Monastery (entry fee of 1000/- per person) or drive to Chele la-la pass (3988 m) for a scenic view. Overnight stay at the hotel in Paro.

Day 9 - Paro Airport Drop 
After breakfast transfer to the airport. Our escort will bid you farewell.

Important Notes: 

  • Please carry valid Voter ID CARD / Passport along with 4 copies of recent passport-size photographs (PAN CARD / AADHAR CARD NOT VALID IN SIKKIM/BHUTAN).
  • CAR - AC will not run in hilly areas.
  • Vehicles are on point to point basis, not on disposal, extra usage will attract extra cost.
  • Hotels mostly provide Extra mattresses for extra people, so please do not commit to Extra beds, beds subject to availability.
  • Room heater charges applicable, which is approx 500/- per room. During peak hours there might be a scarcity of heaters. 
  • Tiger Hill early morning sightseeing is subject to the availability of a pass, otherwise, it will be done on day time.   
  • For on arrival visa below mentioned documents are required 
  • For adults - 6 months valid passport or  voter's id card
  • for child - 6 months valid passport or birth certificate ( in English )
  • The Immigration office of Phuentsholing and Thimphu is open from 9 am to 8 pm for 7 days. 
  • For online permits passport is mandatory for all guests & charges will be inr 500 per person. 
  • Vehicles are non-ac in bhutan
  • Travel insurance premium is subject to age & duration of stay.

  • Institute of Zorig Chusum (Arts & Crafts School) - Thimphu : Closed on Sun & Government Holidays and on Sat open from 10 a.m to 12 o’clock.
